Egyptian industry minister visits commerce chamber in Istanbul

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Mahmoud Abd al Rahman Eissa visited Chamber of Commerce in Istanbul on Thursday.



 


Eissa said that Turkey and Egypt cooperated not only in politics but also in economy, adding that relations between the two country gained momentum especially after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Egypt.

Turkey and Egypt have good relations not only on governmental level but also on people's level, he added.

Noting that he met Turkish investor companies, Eissa said he saw that Turkish businessmen were not affected by the recent incidents in Egypt.

Eissa added that the issue of lifting visa procedures was also on the agenda of his meetings.

Turkey has 1.5 billion USD of investment in Egypt. 280 Turkish companies are providing 55,000 Egyptians with job opportunity
