Year-end current account deficit expectation up to 74.5 bln USD

The year-end current account deficit projection was up to 74.5 billion USD, according to expectation survey of the Central Bank of Turkey.



 


The bank made public the results of its second expectation survey in November 2011 and said the year-end current account deficit forecast rose to 74.5 billion USD.

It was around 73.6 billion USD in the previous survey.

The year-end inflation projection increased to 9.22 percent from 9.08 percent, while the year-end growth rate expectation was up to 7 percent from 6.8 percent.

According to the survey, the year-end USD expectation climbed to 1.8 from 1.79 Turkish liras (TL).
