TUSIAD delegation to travel to Italy

A delegation of Turkish Industrialists´ and Businessmen´s Association (TUSIAD) International will travel to Rome, Italy on June 28.



 


TUSIAD released a statement and said the delegation, led by TUSIAD Executive Board President Umit Boyner, will assess bilateral economic relations between Turkey and Italy and issues related to the European Union.

The delegation will also have meetings with Emma Marcegaglia, the chairperson of Confederation of Italian Industries (Confindustria), and Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.

TUSIAD International, established as a separate unit within TUSIAD in 2001, carries out activities in the field of 'Strategic Business Development'".

The primary aim of TUSIAD International is to develop Turkey's bilateral trade, and investment relations with foreign countries.

TUSIAD International cooperates closely with all TUSIAD's committees and working groups.

TUSIAD International's "2008-2013 Strategy" lays out its objective as being to strengthen the presence of the Turkish private sector overseas by boosting economic relations with developed countries, with developing countries such as Brazil, China, India and Russia, and neighboring countries. In this context, TUSIAD International enjoys close collaboration with counterpart organizations that represent the private sector in these countries.
