Turkish lender Akbank wins three trophies at International Stevie Awards
  05.08.2011

Turkish lender Akbank was honored with three trophies at International Stevie Awards, the bank said on Tuesday.

Akbank was the 2011 Stevie Award winner in Banking Ads&Campaigns category with its communication campaign "Akbank Chidren's Theater".

The bank was also named the Distinguished Honoree in the same category with another communication campaign "Akbank 2010 For You", and in Best Activity Report category.

The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.

Honorees were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 50 nations.

Award winners will be recognized at a gala ceremony in Abu Dhabi in October, where Stevie Award trophies and Distinguished Honoree medals will be presented.
