IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE NUMBER OF PRIVATE PENSION HOLDERS WILL REACH 6 MILLION, THE SIZE OF THE FUNDS WILL BE OVER 110 BILLION LIRAS AND THEIR RATIO TO GDP WILL INCREASE TO 5 PERCENT BY THEN. THE NUMBER OF PRIVATE PENSION RETIREES WILL REACH 500,000 IN THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SCHEME.
