Anadolu Sigorta General Manager Mustafa Su said they created special products for the fans of Tranzonspor with a protocol they signed with Trabzonspor Club. Initially, ‘Tranzonspor Trafik’ (compulsory traffic insurance) and ‘Trabsonzpor Kasko’ (own damage) packages would take effect, he said.



 


1. Anadolu Sigorta assurance for Trabzonspor fans
Anadolu Sigorta General Manager Mustafa Su said they created special products for the fans of Tranzonspor with a protocol they signed with Trabzonspor Club. Initially, ‘Tranzonspor Trafik’ (compulsory traffic insurance) and ‘Trabsonzpor Kasko’ (own damage) packages would take effect, he said.

2. 65 percent of Anadolu Sigorta staff quit smoking
Anadolu Sigorta started a project for contributing to the efforts of its staff to quit smoking. About 65 percent of the participants to the campaign conducted with Allen Carr Turkey said they quit smoking completely, while 20 percent said they considerably reduced smoking.  

3. Anadolu Sigorta offers loans to the graduates of ‘One Master is Thousand Master’

Özatalay said the bonuses given in the own-damage branch causes an increase in the number and frequency of the damaged cars, adding that fraudulency in damaged cars were also on the rise due to a new application in accident reports.

27. Number of the suspicious case reports rise by 24% in the US
There has been an increase of 24 percent in the number of suspicious insurance cases in the US since 2008.

29. BES funds outpace inflation
BES funds which earned 9.2 percent on average in 2010 outpaced inflation rate (6.4 percent) by 2.8 percentage points. Highest earning rate came from stock-weighted funds with 25.4 percent, followed by balanced funds (11.8 percent) and flexible funds (10.9 percent).

During the Insurance Summit held in Istanbul between May 23 and 24, Turkey’s Insurance Model was introduced to foreign insurance professionals. 37. Medline Manager in Charge of Insurance Industry Uğur Kılaf: “Cost advantages to the insurance companies”
Kılaf said, “We settle 40 percent of the cases on-the-spot and heal the insured without any need for going to a health institution”. Kılaf added that this situation brought cost advantages to the insurance companies.

Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool (DASK) Chairman Selamet Yazıcı, DASK General Coordinator and Eureko Sigorta Deputy General Manager İsmet Güngör visited Simav town of Kütahya which was the epicenter of an earthquake weighing 5.9 in Richter scale that hit the region on May 19.

40. First step to the solution of traffic stalemate: DIRECT COMPENSATION SYSTEM
It is provided that burden of the damages and the overhead costs would be reduced by the launch of “Direct Compensation System in Traffic Insurance” which the Association is currently working on. This would also gratify the insured by fuelling the customer satisfaction and loyalty as the customers receive their payments directly from their insurance companies.

41. Deputy Secretary General of TSRŞB (Association of the Insurance and Reinsurance companies of Turkey) Murat Dişçi: Direct compensation will increase the customer satisfaction
Dişçi said that the direct compensation system would increase the quality of the insurance service offered and the customer satisfaction.

Oğuz said that: “ The insurance company who pays the damage of his insured, can charge the damage later to the offending party’s insurance company.”

43. Allianz Operations Director Tolga Gürkan: Revision will be necessary at the existing damage management systems.
Gürkan said that it would be true to plan this arrangement by taking the opinion of the sector and by considering all the advantages and disadvantages.

44. Uğur Özer, Deputy General Manager of Generali Sigorta: Fraud can’t be avoided.
Özer said that if the insured would directly demand his damage to his own insurance company this would be effective to increase the satisfaction but added that he was not sure if it would be useful to control the fraud.

45. TSEV continues to work on professional competence.
At the workshop organized on 19 April 2011 by TSEV the draft profession standards of “Underwriter” and “Damage/Compensation Responsible” have been discussed.

46. Assistance services are very attractive for the citizens.
