Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan attended a dinner hosted by Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) in honor of Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari in Istanbul.
Caglayan said that Turkish and Indian businessmen should make mutual investments. $4 billion trade volume between Turkey and India must be boosted, he said.
Ansari said that bilateral trade had doubled in the past five years but it should be increased more.
Ansari said they hoped that trade volume would reach 7 billion US dollar next year.
