Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan on Saturday made the opening remarks at the Turkey-Saudi Arabia Business Forum.
Caglayan invited Saudi businesspeople to come to Turkey for investment, saying that his country had made major improvements in the investment environment with a new package of incentives.
Caglayan said Saudi Arabia was one of the most important trader partners for Turkey, adding that the trade volume between the two countries totalled $8.1 billion in 2012.
The Turkish minister also said Turkish businesspeople should seek opportunities in infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, where he said the country was planning to invest as high as $1 trillion in the next 20 years. |
