Turkish customs minister says Turkey and Moldova have sound economic ties

Turkish customs minister said Thursday that Turkey and Moldova had sound economic ties.



 


Customs & Trade Minister Hayati Yazici and Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Valeriu Lazar attended the closing session of Turkey-Moldova Joint Economic Commission Meeting in Ankara.

Yazici said that Turkey was determined to continue its support to Moldova.

Within the scope of the JEC meeting, a road map was set between the two countries to boost cooperation in the areas of agriculture, contracting services, investment, transportation, health, environment, science and technology, education, industry, culture and tourism, Yazici said.

Lazar said that Turkey was one of the most important trade partners of Moldova. Lazar said that they were eager to cooperate with Turkey in several areas.
