Turkish banks´ loan volume increases to 509.9 billion Turkish lira

Banking sector´s credit volume, excluding participation banks, increased nearly 1.7 billion Turkish liras (TL) in a week to 509.89 billion TL on May 20, the Turkish Central Bank said on Thursday.



 


Deposit banks' credit volume for financial sector rose 205.6 million TL to 10.8 billion TL. 7.05 billion lira of total credits were granted by deposit banks and 3.7 billion lira was given by development and investment banks.

Central Bank's credit volume for non-financial sector increased to 27.2 million TL. Deposit banks' share was 481.52 billion TL and share of development and investment banks was 17.53 billion TL.
