Turkey´s trade with Turkic republics grows

Turkey´s foreign trade volume with the Turkic republics has increased by 2.2 fold in the last 5 years.



 


Turkey's trade with the Turkic republics went up 27 percent in 2011 when compared with the previous year.

Turkey's trade volume with the Turkic republics in 2011 was recorded as 8.6 billion USD. 3.74 percent of all Turkey's exports in 2011 went to the Turkic republics.

In 2011, Turkey's exports to the Turkic republics was worth 5.04 billion USD while Turkey's imports from the Turkic republics was worth 3.6 billion USD.

Among the Turkic republics, Azerbaijan was the country to which Turkey made most exports.

Turkey's exports to Azerbaijan went up 33.2 percent in 2011 when compared to the previous year and was recorded as 2.06 billion USD. Turkey's trade surplus with Azerbaijan was recorded as 1.8 billion USD in 2011.
