Turkey’s tourism income rose by 7,9% to $ 8.975.976 billion in the second quarter of this year as against the same period last year.
84% of tourism income was obtained from foreign visitors and 15,5% from Turkish citizens resident abroad.
The number of visitors who went abroad rose by 6,8% in the second quarter of this year.
The number of Turkish citizens travelling abroad rose by 11,3% to 2.042.086.
Turkish Statistical Institute also released consumer confidence index statistics.
Consumer confidence index rose by 0,3% to 73,9% in July as against the previous month. |
