Turkey´s crude oil imports up

Turkey´s crude oil imports increased 16.13 percent in January-June period of 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010.



 


Turkey imported 8.8 million tons of crude oil in the mentioned period, according to figures of TurkStat.

Crude oil imports increased 1.2 million tons from 7.5 million tons to 8.8 million tons in January-June, 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010.

Turkey imported 1.5 million tons of crude oil in January, 1.2 million tons in February, 1.4 million tons in March, 1.3 million tons in April, 1.7 million tons in May and 1.4 million tons in June 2011.

Iran, Iraq and Russia are top three countries from where Turkey imports crude oil.
