Turkey to produce industrial dental implants
  27.05.2011

Turkey will be the eighth producer of industrial dental implants in the world with a factory to be erected in north-eastern province of Trabzon.

A ground-breaking ceremony took place for the factory in Besikduzu town of Trabzon in April.
The factory is being built by Turkey's AGS Medical Products Company and will cost around 5 million Turkish liras.

AGS plans to export industrial dental implants to regional countries.

On average, 200,000 industrial dental implants are used in Turkey per year.

Other producers of industrial dental implants in the world are Germany, Switzerland, United States, Italy, South Korea, Israel and France.
