Turkey Rates Among the Seven Rising Economies of the World

Turkey has been cited as one of the seven rising big economies. Alongside Turkey, the list has China, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and Russia.



 


A report by the US Congressional Research Service which submitted a report to Congress gives information on the future of global economy.

The report praises Turkey and qualifies China, Brazil, India and Russia as the biggest economies in the world and ranks Turkey sixteenth as a country closely following Mexico in 11th place and Indonesia in 15th place. The report predicts that Turkey is going to be the world 12th biggest economy in 2050. It says further that the new US Congress to take office in January will give increased attention to those countries starting to have a stronger say. The report also says that Turkey is going to be one of the biggest economies in Europe in 2013 and gives some recommendations.

The Congressional service report says that Turkey needs to introduce some additional arrangements to draw more foreign investors.
