Turkey Official highlights importance of agriculture insurance covering weather risks

An official from Turkey´s Giresun province has called for the introduction and acceptance of agriculture insurance products that cover weather-related risks, Giresungazete.net reported.

The official said changing climatic conditions sometimes bring with them newer risks, which could cause significant losses if not covered.

Agriculture sector players were urged to tap products that cover such risks.
