Turkey Launched Health Tourism Platform

Turkey Health Tourism Platform” is launched with the leadership of Culture and Tourism Ministry at a meeting with participation of representatives from Ministry of Health, TURSAB, TUROFED, Private Hospitals and Health Institutes Association, Foreign Economic Relations Board, Accredited Hospitals Association, and Prof. Dr. Zeki Karagülle.



 


The platform aims to reveal current situation of health tourism in the country and to plan a strategy for future development.
 
The platform will support marketing and promotion of hospitals, thermal and spa facilities operating for “Medical Tourism”, “Thermal Tourism”, and “Spa & Wellness Tourism”. The platform will also contribute in the development of infrastructure within the country.


Moreover, an analysis of current position will be made to determine future strategies and ways to increase quality of facilities. The platform also will provide coordination between industry’s players.
