Akdag said that Turkey attracted patients especially from the Middle East and Europe, stating that nearly 500,000 foreign tourists visited Turkey in 2010 to receive treatment in the country.
There was need to increase the number of doctors, nurses and other health personnel to improve the medical tourism sector, he added. |
