In the coming days, Turkish people will see “a more different TÜİK chairman” and “a more transparent TÜİK,” Aydemir said, adding that they needed some more time to publish the methodology and weights of categories TÜİK uses to calculate the country’s inflation rate.
Noting that statistical data is not given sufficient importance in Turkey, Aydemir also said there was not enough support to produce more quality, extensive and detailed statistics. |
