Travel Turkey 2010 Izmir Tourism Fair and Conference, one of the most significant meetings in the tourism sector, will be organized this year for the fourth time under the cooperation between İZFAŞ, Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) and Hannover-Messe International Istanbul.

The Travel Turkey Izmir Tourism Fair, which will be held on 9 - 12 December 2010 at the Izmir International Fairground, prepares to host tourism professionals from around the world and from Turkey's many unique destinations.

The fair, aiming to become the leading venue in 2010 for a high number of international visitors, will introduce touristic treasures and different destinations around Izmir and Turkey to domestic and foreign tourism investors, agencies, purchasers and final consumers planning vacations. The Fair, as it does every year, will host many visitors from neighboring countries.

Purchasers from the tourism sector will be hosted in the scope of the fair

In the scope of Travel Turkey Izmir 2010 Tourism fair, tour operators and purchasers of travel agencies from such countries as Greece, Spain, Croatia, Montenegro, Qatar, Kosovo, Russia, Italy, Egypt, Bosnia Herzegovina, UAE and Iran have been invited to the fair to cooperate with participant companies under the tourism project, "Hosted Buyer Program".

With the business platform established in such a manner, the objective is to facilitate, within a professional environment, business connections between domestic and foreign tourism businessmen and to have contracts issued between the parties, whereby the country's tourism revenues will be increased. The program, supported by Turkish Airlines and Swissotel Grand Efes Hotel, is expected to include international purchasers from 21 destinations.

New sections and international participants will draw attention
