THY set to sign sponsorship agreement with Ukrainian soccer team

Turkey´s national air carrier, the Turkish Airlines, is set to sign an official sponsorship agreement with Ukrainian soccer team FC Shakhtar Donetsk, the airlines said on Wednesday.



 


The agreement will be signed this coming Sunday in a ceremony in Donetsk, making the Turkish Airlines an official sponsor for the Ukrainian side.

Ukraine is one of the biggest markets for the THY with flights to six cities of Kiev, Donetsk, Lviv, Odessa, Simperefol and Dnepropetrovsk.

THY is also an official sponsor for English soccer team Manchester United and for Spain's Barcelona.
