Turkey’s Transportation Ministry postponed on Monday a tender for the construction of a third Istanbul bridge, which would be built over the Bosphorus Strait connecting the Asian and European sides of the city.
Ministry executives said they had extended the deadline to receive bids for the North Marmara Motorway tender, including the construction of a third bridge, till Jan. 10.
The previous deadline was Aug. 23. The project will be administrated as a build-operate-transfer model.
