  24.02.2012

A group of 20 people from the Union of South Korean Importers (KOIMA) and South Korean Economy Ministry will arrive in Bursa on Tuesday at an invitation by the Union of Uludag Exporters (UIB).

In a written statement released Monday, the UIB has said that the South Korean "VIP Procurement Delegation" will be hosted in Bursa as part of efforts to increase Bursa's exports to the Far East and Asia Pacific countries.

The inauguration of the program would take place at the UIB Secretariat General where the Chairman of the Union of Automotive Industry Exporters (OIB) Orhan Sabuncu, Chairman of the Union of Uludag Textile Exporters (UTIB) Ibrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Union of Uludag Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters (UMSMIB) Orhan Gencoglu and South Korean officials would deliver speeches.

A protocol will be signed by the two sides in a ceremony to be attended by Bursa Governor Sahabettin Harput.

Representatives of Turkish companies and South Korean importers will later hold bilateral meetings in Bursa.
