Saudi Arabia has offered Turkey that the two countries can jointly produce buses and export them to African markets.

Officials told AA correspondent that Saudi officials made joint production offer to Turkish authorities during a meeting held between Turkish Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun and Saudi Arabia's Commerce & Industry Minister Abdallah bin Zaynal Ali Reza in Istanbul.

Ergun said in the meeting that it was important to bring together Turkish and Saudi businessmen in meetings focusing on specific topics to enhance ties between the two countries, stating that concrete results could be achieved in such meetings.

Turkey was ready to share its 50-year experience on organized industrial zones with Saudi Arabia, he said.
