The history of Anadolu Sigorta celebrating 85th anniversary of its foundation has been published as a book titled "Anadolu Sigorta from the Past to the Future". Mustafa Su, General Manager of Anadolu Sigorta, said that the book is a reflection of the history of present financial sector and insurance industry from Tanzimat reform era through to today.

41. Executives of private pension companies shared their expectations for 2011. They focused on the direct tax incentives. Evaluating 2010 for the private pension system (BES) and sharing its expectations for 2011, the private pension industry turned its focus to direct tax incentives. The companies believe the tax incentives should be expanded in order to see a significant increase in the number of participants and if this is achieved, then the growth rate is expected to be in parallel with the one in 2010.

School administrators, who say that the merger would decrease the efficiency of programs, are worried that the situation of two-year college graduates already having difficulty finding employment will deteriorate even more.

Erhan Tunçay, Secretary-General of TSRŞB: The sector is unable to benefit from its graduates Tunçay underlining the fact that young insurance studies graduates only constitute 1 to 3 percent of the employees in the sector, said: "This situation indicates that the sector is unable to fully benefit from its graduates".

Prof Dr Aydın Karapınar, Director of Gazi University Banking and Insurance Academy: We are training experts to meet the needs of the sector "We shall not experience any problem as regard to employment in the sector because we shall have our students graduate as informed about issues needed and requested by the sector."
53. Fuat Çamlıbel, Chairman of Cumhuriyet University MYO Finance & Banking and Insurance Department: The majority of scholars are inadequate in the subject of insurance. Çamlıbel said that the students graduated from Banking and Insurance department, could find jobs in different parts of the sector albeit not in adequate quantities.
54. Lale Yolsel, Education Director of Istanbul Bilgi University Insurance, Finance & Risk Management Centre: There are still opportunities in the sector. "There are still opportunities in the sector despite the problems such as giving employment priority to the undergraduate degree holders"
55. Assistant Assoc Prof Özlem Seçim, Akdeniz University, Social Sciences Vocational School Banking and Insurance Program Coordinator: Sector is still looking for staff through acquaintances. "If Banking and Insurance program coordinators have strong relationships with the sector, they can ensure recruitment of graduates."
56. Assistant Assoc Prof Feride Hayırsever, Bilecik University Bozüyük Vocational School Banking and Insurance Department Lecturer: The two-year graduates are being overtaken by the four-year ones. "The rate of employment of two-year graduates is very low in accordance with the preference of four-year graduates for recruitment in the sector. It also takes a long time for these graduates to make their way up in banks or insurance companies."
57. The graduates’ rate is higher in insurance than in banking. 77 percent of 177 thousand 369 people employed by banks are university graduates as of September 2010. More than 83 percent of 18 thousand 841 people employed in insurance sector are university graduates as of end of year 2009. Whereas the ratio of female employees in banking is around 50 per cent, this ratio exceeds 55 percent in insurance.

Two new training programs within the context of "Regulatory Compliance Training Programs" have been prepared by TSEV in order to transfer the changes in the Turkish Commercial Code and Obligations Act in to the sector.
