Anadolu Sigorta CEO Mustafa Su stated that the presence of its experts in the region accelerated the process and provided advantages for their insurance policy holders. “Our purpose is to compensate the damages of all of our insureds as soon as possible,” he said.

5. AXA Holding Chairman and CEO Cemal Ererdi visited Van
Ererdi who travelled to the region to see firsthand the damage caused by the earthquake, also listened to the problems of AXA SİGORTA agents and insured clients. Ererdi stated that the AXA SİGORTA will compensate 23 million liras of the total payments by the industry that he estimates to be worth 60 million liras.

Güneş Sigorta increased its technical profit by 159 percent and announced 11.5 million liras of net profit at the end of the third quarter of 2011. CEO Serhat Süreyya Çetin stated that they have reached this result by focusing their premium generation on profitable segments and added that they will continue the same way in 2012.

HDI Sigorta developed a new system compatible with smart phones to enable its customers to reach necessary assistance services more easily. Through another application, SMS system, the insureds can express the assistance service they require with a single message.
10. Support for the disabled from HDI
HDI Sigorta, signed up for cooperation with the ‘Solidarity with the Disabled Association’. Based on voluntary participation from the employees and agents, the company aims to collect donations to provide wheelchairs, scholarships and treatment aid for the organization.

Timuçin Alpay stated that the omnibus bill indirectly puts a restriction on policy limit and the financial burden is transferred to the insurance policy holder. “This situation is against the equity principle of the constitution,” he said and cautioned that the insurance policy holders will be aggrieved. |
