Hilton Worldwide to open new hotels in Turkey

International hotel chain, Hilton Worldwide, is planning to open new hotels in Turkey, an executive of the company said on Sunday.



 


Didier Martin, the vice president of Hilton Worldwide for operations in Europe, said the group was planning to make more investments in Turkey, Russia, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom and Iberian Peninsula.

Hilton Worldwide would also open new hotels in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Azerbaijan in 2011, Martin told AA correspondent in the central province of Konya. Martin said there were 16 hotels under construction in Turkey, and Hilton Worldwide's hotel portfolio in Turkey would be doubled by 2013.
