Head of Turkish union of chambers re-elected deputy chairman of Eurochambres

The president of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Rifat Hisarciklioglu, was re-elected deputy chairman of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres).



 


A statement by the TOBB said on Friday that Hisarciklioglu was re-elected as deputy chairman of Eurochambres by getting 43 votes of 45 members.

TOBB is one of the founding members of Eurochambres. TOBB became member of Eurochambres in 1966.

Eurochambres is one of the largest business representative organization in Brussels, representing over 20 million companies through its network of 2000 Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Eurochambres' direct members are national associations of Chambers of Commerce based in the 27 EU countries, EFTA countries, and some Eastern European, Western Balkans and Mediterranean countries.
