Wellness Weekend Packages include overnight Resort accommodations, spa services, a healthy cooking class, a wellness lecture, and access to the Resort’s health club and fitness classes. A day-package option also is available. (Inclusions and pricing below.)
Spa Treatments – Wellness Weekend guests may choose from an extensive menu of services at Spa Grand Traverse, scheduled throughout the weekend to help them take time to relax and de-stress. Spa Grand Traverse facilities include a serene relaxation area.
Health Club – During the weekend, guests enjoy full access to the Resort’s fitness facility that includes dry sauna, mineral swimming pools, cardio-theatre, weight room, and yoga/fitness studio. Guests are encouraged to take time to enjoy yoga and mediation classes on Saturday.
Healthy Cooking Class – Wellness Weekend guests will be able to take healthy eating home by learning some easy tips for healthy cooking, along with a handful of healthy recipes. During this class with a professional from the Resort’s Culinary or Food & Beverage departments, guests will learn to cook healthy in minimal amount of time to continue on the road to healthy living with proper nutrition.
Recipes that guests will receive on the weekend of January 14 include: Fruit & Nut Bar, Mediterranean Chicken Wrap, Apple Cranberry Salmon Salad, Mongolian BBQ Sauce, Mediterranean Chopped Salad. Each recipe includes nutritional information.
Wellness Lecture – Provided by Dr. Nathan Olsen, ND or Jill Donberg, Nationally Certified Acupuncturist, the lectures topics vary by weekend theme. Topics will include how to sustain a healthy immune system throughout the cold and flu season, dealing with seasonal depression, proper digestion, and weight loss and detox the healthy way. Throughout the weekend, guests will each receive individual, personalized consultation with Dr. Olsen or Jill Donberg where they will have the opportunity to discuss their health concerns and questions.

Package prices start at $561 per person with lodging in the Resort’s Tower. The price does not include 8% tax and $14.95 nightly resort fee. Based on double occupancy.
