The event, to continue until Sunday, will be held at the TÜYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Beylikdüzü.
This year, the guest country of the fair is Yemen. The opening of the expo will be done jointly by Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ertuğrul Günay and Omar Babalgeith, the deputy tourism minister of Yemen, at 11 a.m.
The event will bring together tourism officials from 60 countries, while over 150 regional officials from various parts of Turkey will attend.
Visitors may also find “alternative holiday options from various parts of the world, with special discount prices,” according to a press statement released Wednesday.
The press conference to promote Yemen as a tourism destination will be held at 4:30 p.m., while Montenegro, a well-known tourism destination, is also holding a conference for journalists. The event will be held on Friday, at 1 p.m.
The Republic of Adygea, a small Black Sea Circassian republic within Russia, will also promote its natural beauty at the EMITT fair, with a stand in the second hall. “We will be happy to have guests at our stand and in our country,” Aslan Thakusinov, the president of the republic, said in a press statement. |
