Germany makes highest investment in Turkey

Germany is on top of the countries which make investments in Turkey.



 


Among 28,500 companies, which have international capital, Germany took the first line with 4,688 companies, according to figures of Economy Ministry.

Germany was followed by Britain with 2,345 companies and the Netherlands with 1,981 companies.

Companies with international capital in Turkey mostly preferred to invest in wholesale and retail commerce, manufacturing industry and real estate sectors.

Foreign companies preferred Istanbul, Antalya and Ankara provinces most.

There are 15,854 foreign companies operating in Istanbul, 3,423 in Antalya, and 1,850 in Ankara.
