Fitch: Turkey’s note may be bumped up
  04.05.2012

International credit rating agency Fitch analyst Ed Parker expressed that Turkey’s basis of macro elements point to the possibility of an investable rating.

Emphasizing that if the situation improves in Europe, then Turkey's rating may be raised, Parker says that the Euro Zone crisis and petroleum prices pose risk factors for Turkey. "Turkey's Macro basis points to the potential investable rating," states Parker. The Fitch analyst also states that Turkey's economy has begun an improvement process and the soft drop and low account deficit could bring with it an increased rating.
