EMITT, the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, is being held in 10 halls at TUYAP between February 10 and 13.

Under the sponsorship of the guest country Yemen, EMITT is the world's 6th biggest tourism fair with its 10 halls covering 60,000 sqm, attracting some 4,000 participants from 60 countries…

Who are at EMITT?

All prominent travel agencies from Turkey, tour operators, hotels, airline companies, cruise companies, companies from all sections in tourism… Tourism centres from across Turkey (provinces, districts and resorts), Regional Development Agencies. In Hall 2, similar to the previous years, tourism ministries of the countries, tour operators, hotels, airline companies, etc., representing national-regional tourism organisations or themselves are located. The area covered by foreign countries and companies in this hall is much wider this year in parallel to the increased number of participating countries.

Hall 3 gathers chain hotels, individual hotels, hotels and tourism resorts represented under regions or associations from across Turkey.

Hall 4, on the other hand, hosts tourism suppliers where you can meet all your needs.

Halls 5-6-9 and 10, as in the previous years, exhibit cities and regional development agencies from across Turkey. These halls will be much more colourful than usual because this year constitutes a record in terms of city participation.

Halls 7 and 8 host mainly tour operators, travel agencies and cruise companies from Turkey. Participation in this area has increased dramatically similarly to the country and city participations.

EMITT 2011 Exhibition has taken its place among the fairs supported by KOSGEB. Agents, hotels, rent a car companies, event planning companies, companies supplying goods and services to touristic facilities can benefit from this support.
