Turkish doctors removed the leg from the patient who underwent the world´s first triple limb transplant - two arms and a leg - due to tissue incompatibility.
Prof. Dr. Omer Ozkan told reporters that 34-year-old patient Atilla Kavdir was in stable condition after the removal of the leg which was attached on Saturday.
Ozkan said another patient who underwent Turkey's first full face transplant was also in stable condition.
"Our face transplant patient did not have even the slightest problem so far," Ozkan said.
