Basra offers significant opportunities for Turkish business circles

Turkey´s consul general in Basra said on Tuesday that Iraqi city of Basra was offering significant opportunities for Turkish business circles.



 


Faruk Kaymakci invited Turkish businessmen to Basra and defined it as a strategic city.

"Basra offers significant opportunities to Turkish business circles," Kaymakci told AA correspondent.

Kaymakci defined Persian Gulf as Iraq's single door opening to the seas, and said Turkish companies were trying to increase investments and trade in the region.

Actually 50 Turkish companies are operating in the region.
