How did you decide to prepare Turkey presentation portals in your works within the international travel industry?
While working in the insurance and health tourism fields within Turkey for long years, as of the year 2000 we, as Medasist International commenced the survey of works at abroad. We have been carrying out marketing works to foreign travel agencies for foreign tourists’ travel assistance services since 2006, and we decided to turn travelassisturkey.com portal founded for presentation of our service pack and potential internet sales into Turkey’s tourism portal. Nevertheless, www.seyahat-sigortasi.net works for domestic tourism with the current developments, hotel information and information and news on foreign travel insurance. In the near future our web tv, of which content works we completed for tourism presentation and information purposes will be online. What do you aim at with presentations for foreigners in the portals?
Given the strength of tourism online booking sector, today these booking sites can provide limited information on hotels’ services, managers' works in the hotels for the future and the hotels. For sure, information on the destination may be limited as well. Our purpose with the portals is to explain in details hotels’ and hospitals’ services and all works through our meeting with the managers of hotels and hospitals for health tourism. We believe that each of our portals imposes an important mission in our international media planning works to make the hotels and hospitals a more prestigious brand for both tourists and big travel agencies.
What are your investments concerning Medasist International Foreign Portals?
Together with our friends in international media assistance platform service, to upgrade our portals more rapidly and efficiently in internet search portals within the international tourism arena and to ensure presentation, we apply required programming strategies with the advertisements in the search engines. Moreover, by sending 1 bulletin to our mail list of 7,000 persons consisting of foreign travel agencies sending tourists to Turkey that we obtained from tourism offices operating under Ministry of Tourism as a result of 1-year effort and authorized persons of the world’s leading travel agencies participating in the world’s biggest tourism exhibitions, we submit them our tourism works. Additionally, in our groups in social networking sites and links and banners in the hotels and travel agencies, www.medasist.com and www.travelassisturkey.com occupy a significant place in Turkey works.
Consequently, Medasist International will continue its works to market, introduce and prestige raising works for the hospitals and hotels that it cooperates in the fields of news and advertising.
