A new chairman for the Istanbul Stock Exchange

The government has sent a decree for the appointment of the new chairman of the Istanbul Stock Exchange to the Çankaya Palace.



 


Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan has recommended current Deputy Chairman of the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) İbrahim Turhan be appointed as the new ISE Chairman.

According to the information obtained, the decree signed by Deputy Prime Minister Babacan, recommends current ISE Deputy Chairman İbrahim Turhan be named ISE Chairman. The tripartite decree was sent to the Presidential Palace to be signed this morning.

The appointment of the Istanbul Stock Exchange Chairman is done so through a tripartite decree for a five-year term. In addition to administrating the Istanbul Stock Exchange and undertaking all representative duties, the ISE Chairman is also responsible for coordinating relations between the Capital Markets Board and Stock Exchange Members
