Turkey saw 1.46 million tourists in March.
In the first quarter of the year there was a 6.35 percent drop in the number of visiting tourists compared to the first quarter of 2011. The number of tourists in the first quarter of 2012 was 3.44 million.
Those from Germany topped the list of foreign visitors to Turkey by 15.2 percent.
Iranians, Georgians, Bulgarians, Russians, Syrians, Greeks, Britons, Azerbaijanis and French followed respectively. |
