17 paintings of Turkish Central Bank on display in Barcelona

17 paintings, part of the art collection of the Turkish Central Bank, are on display in Spanish city of Barcelona under the name "Shadow and Truth".



 


The paintings were placed on display at the building of Spanish bank Caixa on Thursday and will be open to visitors until March 4.

Among the dignitaries who attended the inauguration of the painting exhibition in Barcelona were Governor of the Turkish Central Bank Erdem Basci, Turkey's Consul General in Barcelona Haldun Koc and Caixa Forum Foundation's Chairperson Jaime Lanaspa.

Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition, Erdem Basci said that "economics is not just about money. A little culture and art should also be a part of this world".
